Listen to Your Inner Voice

How many times has your "gut" or inner voice told you something that you didn't want to hear? Did you put it aside and continue on the wrong path? Sometimes it's hard to listen to that inner guide showing us what is right and what is wrong. Whether it be a red flag in a lover or the sign at work that you're not moving in the right direction.

Looking back I can remember hundreds of times I made the decision to not let that inner voice out and I chose to block my gut. I was heading down the path of least resistance whether my mind liked it or not. Unfortunately I have always looked back and realized that I should have listened to this voice.

Each time you get that strange sensation that something is wrong...listen. Pay attention to that inner voice, your gut instinct is your best source of intuition. No psychic hotline in the universe is going to answer those deep questions that you have inside better than you. Hear what your heart has to say...and then open your mind to another voice, the one telling you yes or no.

Should you stay or should you go? I don't think it's an immediate answer with your gut. It's a matter of really paying a close attention to all of the feelings surrounding whatever question you're asking. Like when you're about to make a purchase and something inside is shouting out to not enter those numbers! Or when you've met someone special and inside there are red flags going off about their honesty or their intentions.

So may times before I have went against my gut and regretted it. I bet you too can remember a time that something inside told you the truth and you didn't listen....now it's time to trust that gut!

My Inner Voice once told me to "learn to go the way of least resistance"...so I hope to do both...listen to the inner voice, and go the way of least resistance.
